WDCV is turning 50 in 2012 and here is a daily slice of our history. We hope you enjoy this archive and any alums out there are welcome to add to it. If you have old images, audio, flyers or other memorabilia, send them our way. wdcvfm@gmail.com

We are the Voice of Dickinson College and here is a bit of our history, one day at a time....

A record order from a WDCV music director back in the day. Anyone know what decade this is from?
***Update***
Pete Bilderback is always an alum we can rely on and he pulled through again after looking over this image.  After a bit of research, here is what he came up with!
“Based on the catalog numbers this appears to be an order placed with
London Records. It’s mostly for classical LPs. All the CS catalog
numbers are classical titles, and the latest release date is from
1972. The one on top (CSP-9) is for a 9 LP set of Beethoven’s
Symphonies performed by the Chicago Symphony orchestra and conducted
by Georg Solti from 1972.  NPS-4 is the The Rolling Stones’ Let It
Bleed from 1969. DES 1806 is Ten Years After’s Undead from 1968. I
think the records that are listed as P5 should actually read “PS.”
London PS 650 is for the album Caravan & the New Symphonia from 1974,
and London PS 651 is for the album Barry Miles and Silverlight, also
from 1974. So if I had to guess, I’d say this order was placed around
1974.”
If you are a WDCV alum we would love to hear more about you and your time at WDCV. Can you fill out this quick survey ? It would be much appreciated!
